Who We Are - The SFASU Interior Design Advisory Council (IDAC) is a dedicated nonprofit group of professionals, alumni, educators, and students committed to supporting the Interior Design Department at Stephen F. Austin State University. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world by fostering mentorships, industry connections, and educational growth opportunities for students pursuing interior design careers.

Our Mission - At IDAC, we strive to:

• Provide mentorship and networking opportunities between students and industry professionals.

• Support career development initiatives, including career fairs and other club organized events.

• Fund and facilitate educational opportunities and program resources for the SFASU Interior Design Department.

Our role at SFASU - As an advisory council, we work closely with faculty, students, and industry partners to enhance the quality of education and real-world experience available to SFASU interior design students. We aim to empower future designers by providing them with the tools, guidance, and opportunities necessary to excel in the field.
